Our Mother's Day raffle and cake stall held on Friday, May 11, in the entrance of the hospital was another great success.

The raffle collected $974 – a wonderful result considering the inclement weather experienced on that day.

A big thank you again to everyone involved who donated the wonderful prizes and cooking, including the community of Parkes who purchased the tickets and enjoyed the delicious cooking.

The lucky first prize winner was Gail Rosewarne, while Elise Jackson took out second prize. 

Friends of the Parkes Hospital are at the moment in the process of purchasing another air mattress to add to the two we have already donated plus more emergency toiletry packs.

Our monthly meetings continue to be held at the hospital on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7pm.
