Driving Safe
PCYC Parkes' next safer driver course is running on June 8. We only have three spots left. The course involves two modules. The first is a three hour education session on how to manage risks on the road. The second is a two hour practical in car coaching session. The course represents 20 hours credit in the learner's logbook.
The aim of the program is to help reduce the likelihood of young drivers hurting themselves or others on the road. To book and find out more information head to our Facebook page or www.saferdrivers.org.au/. We get young people active in life. We work with young people to develop their skills, character and leadership. We reduce and prevent crime by and against young people.
Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net.
Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents’ half of the court. Lots of fun for everyone. All Ages on Wednesday’s from 5pm- 6pm.
