The offender kicked in an area of wall near the back door of the premises to gain entry and stole a cash register containing an amount of cash.
After extensive inquiries, including an examination of the crime scene, Parkes Police arrested and charged a 20-year-old Parkes man.
He was refused bail and appeared in Forbes Local Court today.

A 22-year-old Parkes man will face court after being caught drink driving on Monday night.
Police stopped the driver of a green Holden utility at 10.30pm due to the manner in which the vehicle was being driven.
The man failed a roadside breath test, was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station for a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.045.
He was charged with special range PCA (second offence) and will appear in Parkes Local Court on Monday, May 7.
