Applications are now open for budding zoo keepers to study through the Taronga Training Institute.

Have you always wanted to work with animals or be a zoo keeper? Would you love the chance to develop your skills in Dubbo?

Taronga is welcoming applications for a range of animal courses through the Taronga Training Institute, including Certificate II in Animal Studies and Certificate III in Tourism.

Students can choose to study while still working or attending school and receive a nationally accredited qualification.

Taronga offers workshops and training to provide students with practical skills and experience to be job ready.

Protecting and caring for animals is such an important job and the next generation of keepers will be vital to the future of our wildlife.

Those considering studying through he institute need to get in quick, because applications are closing very soon.
