The school holidays are almost here if you haven't yet found care for you children PCYC Parkes can help.
We will be running our service from Monday, April 16 until Monday, April 30. Our opening hours will be 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a cost of $40 per day, per child, less any CCB/CCR you are entitled. We will be closed for ANZAC day.
We have plenty of fun and develop mentally appropriate activities, planned for each child to create their own learning experience, whether it is from the planned activities or child-lead. We also provide parents and carers with a personalised daily dairy of what your child has achieved and participated in during their day in care.
These holidays we have some exciting things planned including a guided tour of the Peak Hill gold mine followed by a visit to the Parkes Telescope.
On Monday, April 23 it is national Jelly Bean day where we will have a go at Jelly bean engineering and the 24th will be dedicated to ANZAC day.
The holidays will be finished off with a trip to the Parkes Library and Rascals.
Some of our days are close to booked out, I do encourage you to book as soon as possible as our places are filling quite quickly for this period!
PCYC Parkes' next safer drier course is running on the 5th of May. There are a couple of spot left.
The course involves two modules. The first is a three hour education session on how to manage risks on the road.
The second is a two hour practical in car coaching session.
The course represents 20 hours credit in the learner's logbook.
The aim of the program is to help reduce the likelihood of young drivers hurting themselves or others on the road.
