Parkes woman threatens to burn neighbours house down

A 22-year-old Parkes woman was arrested and charged on Tuesday in relation to a dispute with her neighbour in Medlyn Street. 

The woman threatened to burn the neighbours house down and threatened them with a rock.

She was charged with intimidation and common assault. 

The woman will appear in Parkes Local Court on March 19.

Police are investigating two reported burnouts on the corners of Medlyn and Keast Streets, and Keast and Woodward Streets. 

A resident observed a vehicle do a burnout into and out of Keast Street from their front yard at 5pm on Tuesday. 

The resident took note of the registration number of the vehicle and gave it to police. 

Investigations are continuing.

A black and gold Blaster scooter was located in Medlyn Street at 5.30pm on Tuesday. 

If you think you own the scooter, call into the Parkes Police Station to identify it.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to identify a driver who failed to pay for fuel on at 3.30pm on Monday. 

The driver of a white Peugeot sedan put 18.79 litres of unleaded fuel worth $30 in the vehicle at the BP Allnighter and left without paying.
