Parkes Marist Junior Rugby League Club is hosting a bowls day to raise funds for its junior footy players.

Organisers are inviting the community to join them for a day of bowls this Saturday, March 10 from 4pm at the Railway Bowling Club.
The event will feature a free barbecue, great raffles and ultimately a great community and social day out.
“Come along and support the club,” club representative Scott Burns said.
Cost is $10 per playing person.
In other club news, juniors have started training this week on Mondays and Thursdays.
The club would like to introduce its coaches and committee for the 2018 season.
Coaches
Under 7s Coach Benjamin Lovett (assisted by Under 18 players).
Under 8s Coach Luke Clarke.
Under 10s Coach Andrew Thomas.
Under 12s Coach Shane Cox.
Under 14s Coach John Crisp.
Under 16s Coach Brett Smith.
Senior League Tag Sally Dwyer and Hannah Kelly.
The club is still looking for a coach for its junior league tag teams.
