Organiser Katrina Harris said it was a fantastic afternoon!
“The atmosphere was buzzing as women of all ages from the community came to browse among the clothes and accessories,” she said.
“So far more than $2000 has been raised for the work of Compassion with mothers and babies in the developing world.
Compassion representative Paul Davey was at the event to speak about the work of Compassion, and Katrina shared stories about her first hand experiences of the positive outcomes of these programs in Rwanda and Uganda.
“Lots of help made this a fantastic experience,” Katrina said.
“If people were unable to attend but would like to contribute to the work of Compassion, they can email me at k.harris@parkescs.nsw.edu.au or make donations online at compassion.com.au.”
“Thanks to everyone involved - you showed that there is #hopemorepowerfulthanpoverty!”
