Trundle says thank you
The Trundle village, first on scene were able to stop a grass fire from being pushed by strong wind into the Cypress pine forest over the fence.

This forest surrounds the tip at the south of trundle and continues along the entire west side and finishes a couple of km north of trundle. Trundle village RFS was supported by The Troffs and Backwater brigades.
The fire did jump into the pine forest, due to the combined efforts of the RFS volunteers the outbreak was contain quickly. Preventing a major fire incident.
It took this group of volunteers three hours of there Sunday afternoon out in the heat to get the situation contained. Again a big thank you to the Volunteer Rural fire fighters that attended

Trundle (and Distraction) Community Day Centre is recommencing Friday, February 16 from 10am to12noon at Trundle Services Club.

Craft Time
Trundle scrapbooking and card making workshop. Saturday, February 17 at 9am. Trundle Presbyterian church hall. Costs: $35 includes chicken and salad for lunch, morning and afternoon tea and gifts. Tullamore Irish Music Festival
Get your tickets for the great lineup coming to the festival in 2018. On March 31 there will be all day entertainment for the children and they are free.
There will be an abundance of FREE activities for all children to enjoy and special attractions including carnival rides, face painting, as well as numerous workshops and activities. You will have tired happy kids after the festival.
On Friday, March 30 there will be farm tours from 10am
Enjoy a tour of the family farm "Westpoint" seeing seasonal farming activities underway. Watch the kelpies in action as they participate in a sheep dog trial. See the horses and horsemanship on show.
Tour local site "The Rocks" and experience first hand some indigenous heritage by viewing tools, carvings and artwork. Experience country hospitality and enjoy some homegrown Outback Lamb for lunch - grown on the farm and personally prepared for you.
