A 21-year-old Parkes woman was the victim of a hit and run in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The woman was walking along Bogan Street around 3.30am when she was hit by a vehicle travelling south.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop and continued along Bogan Street before turning right into Dalton Street.
The victim sustained grazing to her chest, arms and legs, a swollen left knee and a possible broken jaw.
Police are viewing CCTV footage of the incident.

Two Parkes men aged 30 and 24 have been charged after being caught maliciously damaging an ambulance.
Police on patrol observed the men drawing on the ambulance with marking pen at 12.25pm on Thursday.
The pair will face Parkes Local Court on malicious damage (graffiti) charges.

Police received a report stating five young females, aged around 15, were observed damaging two residential mailboxes in Welcome Street around 11.15pm on Friday.

A 19-year-old Parkes man will face Parkes Local Court after being caught drink driving.
Police stopped the driver of a Holden Rodeo at 2.20pm on Sunday, January 14, travelling west on the Condobolin Road.
He failed a roadside breath test, was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station for a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.017.
He was charged with special range PCA.
