The Central West WedFest, held by BoxGrove, will see everything bridal in a location that allows for indoor and outdoor events.
Owner Kayla Atkins said the event welcomes family involvement, where all parties of the wedding can see what is on offer.
“We’re trying to get everyone to stick around and enjoy the process,” she said.
“We want people to be able to sit down and relax, and be able to chat with their friends and family before making any decisions.”
Wedding suppliers from across the Central West, as well as from Sydney and the Blue Mountains, will be showcasing all they have to offer.
Businesses attending WedFest include celebrants, photographers, caterers, florists, skin care, and more.
“There’s a bit of everything,” Ms Atkins said.
“We even have a vintage caravan with people serving drinks who also double as florists.”
As BoxGrove is often used as a wedding venue, Ms Atkins said it is a real tool in understanding the needs of brides and grooms.
“We chat to these couples for about 12 months so we really get to know them and what they like,” she said.
Although there is no official fashion parade of wedding gowns with people walking down a runway, there will be a number of ladies dressed up talking amongst guests to showcase some of the looks that can be achieved.
Those who attend WedFest will have the opportunity to relax and sip wine whilst enjoying the view, accompanied by live music.
“There are many benefits of BoxGrove as there is an on-site hair and makeup salon, as well as the accommodation, reception and ceremony located on site.”
WedFest will be held at BoxGrove, 119 Duramana Road, this Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
Tickets can be bought online for $15 at www.boxgrove.com.au, or for $20 on arrival.
