What better way could you start your Australia Day celebrations but by letting all your stresses flow up the string of your kite.
It is all happening at Northparkes Oval starting at 8am through until 11am.
The event is free of charge and there will be egg and bacon sandwiches and coffee available at the oval.
There will also be a big display of kites for sale and once again the floating whale will be at the oval.
