A former Parkes man accused of murdering a woman by running her down in a car before fleeing the scene has faced court for the second time on Tuesday.

Victorian Police allege Charles McKenzie Ross Evans, 44, murdered Alicia Little, 42, out the front of her home in Kyneton, Victoria, on Thursday afternoon.
Detective acting Sergeant Leigh Smyth told the court on Friday police went to the Lavenders Lane property about 3.45pm following reports of a domestic violence incident.
The court heard Ms Little made a desperate call for help to police in the moments before she died.
Mr Smyth said when police arrived they found Ms Little unconscious in the front yard of her home.
He said paramedics attempted to revive her but she died at the scene.
Police allege an autopsy conducted overnight revealed Ms Little died of blunt force trauma consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.
The court heard Mr Evans allegedly fled the scene after hitting Ms Little with a car but returned hours later at 5.30pm.
He was kept in police custody overnight and charged with one count of murder on Friday afternoon.
Mr Evans appeared disorientated and confused throughout the hearing.
At one point, Magistrate John Doherty asked if he understood the court process and if he had spoken to a lawyer.
"I've never been in trouble before and I don't know what to do," he responded.
"I spoke to a solicitor on the phone. I wanted to speak about everything but my solicitor told me to hold off."
The Kyneton resident was remanded in custody and ordered to reappear at Bendigo Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 2, where he made no application for bail.
Evans was again remanded in custody pending a committal mention in Bendigo on May 16.
Several family and friends of Ms Little and Mr Evans attended the court on Tuesday.
Friends posted emotional tributes to Alicia Little on social media after her death.
Mourners remembered Ms Little her as a "loving, infectious and intelligent" woman.
"You always had a big smile on your face always happy and fun you made everyone around you feel so loved and happy," friend Sheldon Grant wrote.
"Whenever I was upset you always made me smile, you were my mum away from my mum."
Friend Kelly Maynard described her death as "gut wrenching and heartbreaking."
"She was an easy person to love, always smiling, always up for a joke or prank, genuinely funny and yet also so intelligent and caring to talk to," she posted.
Another friend said "she was just so infectious to be around, could never get enough of how beautiful a person she was."
