The Parkes Action Club recently celebrated another successful 12 months of service to Parkes by holdings its annual changeover dinner with Parkes Shire mayor Ken Keith and Sue Keith as guests.

Mayor Keith congratulated the Action Club for its volunteer work in the community.
The Action Club has shown its support to Parkes with in excess of 600 hours of community service in the past 12 months.
The executive was returned largely unchanged.
Gary Somers was elected President, Bob Steel is the vice president, Mark Olson was appointed secretary, David Knights is treasurer and David Marks is Commissariat.
The President, Gary Somers, thanked members for their work during the year particularly, the Christmas Street parade and the highly successful St Elmo Shearing Shed Art Exhibition as well as the Public Speaking competition.
The Club is looking forward to another successful 12 months.
