Farewell
The tullamore community farewelled their police officer, Dane Budd and his family on November 4. Dane, Leanne with their children Harrison and Chloe took a leap of faith coming to Tullamore three years ago pursuing a change.
During that time the family embraced the community, participating in local events and sporting clubs. The Budds decided country life was for them. Dane accepted a position in the Parkes command.
Trundle Bush Tucker Day
Trundle Bush Tucker Day has been servicing the community for 30 years and we now need your help. New committee members are required to help fill positions if Bush Tucker Day is to continue to be a highlight on the Trundle calendar. Please contact John Southon on 6892 1303 for further information.
Jewellery Party
The Royal Far West held a Jewellery and Make-Up Party on November 12 at the Presbyterian Hall. Christine gave a presentation of the jewellery, which she buys from America. It was all good quality at reasonable prices, lovely pieces, bracelets, necklaces, charms etc. that we could pass around and discuss. This took over an hour and then a beautiful afternoon tea was served, scones with jam and cream, jelly squares, peach and sour cream slice, dips and more. Yum!
After that, Christine presented her range of make-up, eye products, mascaras, eye shadows, lipsticks, and lip-gloss, face lotions and powders. It was a pleasant girlie afternoon out, a nice way to spend Sunday afternoon. A percentage of what Christine sells is given as a donation to Royal Far West. Thank you, Christine. (Robyn Whitsen)
Trundle CWA

Art Project
The Parkes Shire Council is funding a community art project for Trundle to produce a collaborative art piece for the town. Helen Gray has volunteered to co-ordinate this project, with support from a small committee and the Trundle and District Progress Association. This shire will fund the cost of the artwork production and provide a small amount for art resources.
The council’s intention is for our community to create a local artwork that is visually appealing, interesting for visitors and locals and reflective of the vibe of Trundle. There will be three workshops on the following Sundays, November 19 from 10am to 2pm, December 17 from 10am to 2pm and January 14 from 10am to 2pm. Workshops are free and venue is yet to be announced. Call Helen Gray on 0488 991 350.
