This will be the 13th year for the Show which includes a Market Day and Vintage Machinery Display.
For the second year running, the Parkes Antique Motor Club will be hosting its 23rd Annual Swap Meet in conjunction with the event.
Car Show organiser Christine Miskell from the Central WCC said that “the event raises much needed funds for the local branch of Can Assist”
“Last year Can Assist netted just over $10,000 “ Christine said
“and this couldn’t be achieved without the financial support of all our sponsors so we are grateful to those businesses”.
The event is held at Pioneer Oval , the home of Rugby League in Parkes, and gates open to the general public at 9:30 am with the day finishing up at 3pm.
Entry to the car show is by gold coin donation with entry to the PAMC swap meet $5.00.
The show features both cars and motorbikes ranging from original vehicles to highly modified and hot rods. “Last year we had a total of 174 entries including 46 motorbikes” said Christine.
There’ll be a BBQ and drinks available on site along with a wide variety of market stalls.
There’s always plenty of shade in the grandstand when the day heats up and with soft grass underfoot it’s always a relaxed atmosphere to check out some amazing vehicles.
Scott Patton from the CWCC said “the feature car for the show this year is the Holden Monaro so we hope to have a good range of Monaro’s on display”.
If you’d like to enter a vehicle it’s not too late. You can download an entry form with all the details from the website www.centralwestcarclub.com and register on the day from 7:30am to 8:30am.
So for a great day out for a good cause and the opportunity to see some fantastic vehicles, join the crowds at Pioneer Oval from 9:30am all day.
