Utility forward Josh Cornellison ran on for his 100th senior game and Lloyd Nock kitted up for his 406th senior match.
With only 14 men running on the Boars knew the challenge was there.
The field was rock hard due to the recent frosts and drought conditions and the cricket pitch in the centre was a skin destroying nightmare.
Young full back Pat Jones again showed he is someone to watch as he played well and truly above his experience level to close down the Roos attack.
Steve Tautao played three positions during the game and was rewarded with the only try for the Boars.
The forward pack of Josh Cornellison, Jason Lowe and Lloyd Nock played a strong game while young colt Brad Burrell ran on as the half back and worked until he dropped at the end of the match.
The match was a run over by Roos finishing with a bonus point win 62-5
