Parkes Police are waiting on the results of further drug analysis tests before laying charges after a 26-year-old Parkes man returned a positive result in a roadside drug test.

Police stopped the man in Webb Street at 1.15pm and breath tested him.
His tested negative for alcohol, however a drug test returned a positive result for methamphetamine and cannabis.
He was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station for a secondary oral fluid test which has been sent for further analysis.

A 21-year-old Dubbo man will appear in Parkes Local Court on May 1, after being caught driving while his licence was suspended.
He was stopped on the Newell Highway at 2.30am on Tuesday.
