Plans are well underway for the forthcoming Young Turf Club's 2017 Young Cup meeting that will be held at the Toompang Racecourse at Young on Saturday, May 20.

Feature race of the six race program will again be the 2017 Young Hotel, South West Slopes Credit Union Young Cup, supported by a strong day of racing.
The club will once again provide a lucrative prizemoney purse for the annual event that continues to attract trainers from throughout the state, especially from the Western Districts and Riverina.
In addition to the prizemoney, feature race winners will receive an outstanding array of trophies.
These include a cup, ribbons and trophies for all three placegetters, together with a magnificent hamper provided by Poppas Fudge & Jam Factory in Young.
Racegoers will be treated with the usual top class amenities.
The day will also include a Young Lions Club barbecue, pizza oven, coffee and bar facilities and an ice cream vendor.
Patrons will not be forgotten with the much sought after “Best Dressed Lady” voucher kindly donated by Young clothing business The Loft.
And for the gents, the “Best Dressed Gent” award kindly donated by Bruces Mensland.
