In a first for the Parkes Elvis Festival and among the 25th anniversary celebrations, a special Wall of Famers Show was held in honour of the 2017 Elvis Wall of Fame inductee the late Dig Richards.
Festival founder Bob Steel said the show – which featured three previous Parkes Elvis Wall of Famers – was very unique.
At one stage in their career, 1960s Australian entertainers Robie Porter, Little Pattie and Lucky Starr all performed with Dig.
As they did with Dig’s little brother and Parkes man Doug Richards, who was representing Dig for the day.
The show also featured Dig’s original drummer from his band the R’Jays, Leon Isackson.
Here’s the action from their first sold out show at 4pm on Wednesday, upstairs at the Parkes Services Club.
