Mr Cobb said Sureway Employment and Training Pty Ltd, Serendipity Pty Ltd and OCTEC Limited have successfully tendered to be a part of the Disability Management Service (DMS).
“I am delighted three services that cater for different areas of Calare will receive Commonwealth funding to help people with a disability find and keep a job.
“I believe improving job opportunities for people with a disability is important and I’m pleased that Sureway Employment and Training Pty Ltd, Serendipity Pty Ltd and OCTEC Limited will be working hard to do that in our community,” he said.
Mr Cobb believes the open tender process should give job seekers with a disability confidence that their DMS provider has a demonstrated ability to achieve high quality employment outcomes, and that they therefore have the best chance possible of finding and retaining a job.
“This is a great outcome for job seekers with a disability in Calare,” Mr Cobb said.
The new contracts will take effect from March 2015 and will be offered until March 2018.
