Parkes Painting Group is hosting an exhibition from April 19 to May 5 at The Coventry Room. Works by guest Glenn Morton, Parkes Painting Group and Parkes Pottery members. All welcome to opening night, from 6pm to 9 on April 19, $20 entry includes drinks and nibbles. Exhibition will then open 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
TRUNDLE GROW MAKE AND BAKE SWAP MEET
Sunday, April 21
At the Trundle home grown and produce exchange, Short Street, swap baked goods, home grown produce, jams, bread etc and share with the community. Share your produce and knowledge and make some connections from 9:30am to 12pm.
MAKERSPACE ACTIVITIES
Wednesday, April 24
Hanging out. Create a mobile using recycled materials such as packaging 10am - noon, for Kindy - Year 6, $2 and bookings essential via the library.
PEAK HILL LIBRARY
Tuesday, April 23
From 10:30am-12:30pm for school-age children from kindy to year 6 visit the library for a morning of makerspace magic. Bookings essential, call the library or book in person.
ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOPS
April 23 and 24
Join author and illustrator Sami Bayly at the Parkes Library on Tuesday 23 and at the Trundle Library on Wednesday 24 for a free one hour illustration workshop for kinder to year 12 students. Bookings are essential.
CANOWINDRA BALLOON GLOW
Saturday, April 27
Visit Canowindra from 3-10pm as balloons light up the sky, a magical experience where you'll see hot air balloons lighting up their burners synced to all new music under the beautiful evening skies in the Central West. PARKES CUP - FLOOD RELIEF FUN DAY

At the Parkes Jockey Club enjoy a day full of fun activites and races featuring the Parkes Services Club 'Parkes Cup'. A flood relief fun day which is free entry, live music, community cash card giveaways, free kids activities and more!
CHILLFEST
