Cheryl Simpson, vocalist from Dubbo accompanied by Mr Tony Dess on keyboard will be the club’s next featured performer on Sunday, July 15 at 1pm.
The club is looking forward to another great afternoon of music and dance.
Walk-ups welcome.
June Muster was a great success with Barry Green as featured performer.
He was joined on the afternoon program by visiting artists from Dubbo Gary Hollier; Barry Josephs; Craig Manderson and Mick Bruce; from Cowra Ken Chalker; Bill Murray and Stephen Cheney; Dawn Brydon from Narromine and Ann Penman, Lyndhurst.
The audience certainly enjoyed the entertainment and all performers looked like they were having a great time up on stage.
Since the club’s last muster in June a bus load of Parkes Country Music members visited Dubbo on June 24 to attend their Dubbo Orana Country Music Muster.
A great afternoon was had by all.
Another function on the calendar was the Muster held at Peak Hill on July 1 together with Dubbo Orana CMA at the Peak Hill Services Club.
While the crowd who braved the cold was small in number the entertainment was still of excellent quality and everyone enjoyed a happy relaxed afternoon.
Artists for the afternoon were Craig Manderson, Mick Bruce, Gary Hollier, Barry Dickenson, Greg Jankowski and birthday boy Barry Joseph from Dubbo, Jock and Lindy Charlton, Dale Cowell, Joy Rice and Stephen Cheney and a new comer Annabelle Van Wyk who delighted the audience with her performance as she sang and played guitar and saxophone.
Annabelle is only 13 years old and everyone is looking forward to seeing a lot more of her.
