Music from across the ages will accompany nine readings from the bible, chosen to highlight God’s redeeming plan for the world.
The congregation will join in with the singing of traditional Carols such as ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ and ‘Joy to the World’.
The popular a Capella singing group, Tapestry will perform a series of medieval carols, along with rearrangements of popular Carols.
Featured this year will be a new arrangement of ‘Mary’s Boy Child’, and the haunting ‘Jesus Christ the Apple Tree’.
Former Parkes Resident, Richard Morgan, will delight with his playing of the Organ, along with giving a recital beforehand.
The evening will conclude with supper, and a retiring collection for the annual Christmas Bowl Appeal.
All welcome.
