Vanfest founder and manager Matt Clifton gave Forbes Shire councillors an update on the festival – now less than two weeks away – at their November meeting last Thursday.
More than $600,000 worth of tickets have been sold, with the VIP “sitting pretty” section now at capacity.
Already at record ticket sales, the music festival is upping the ante in terms of entertainment and thrill.
They’re working with the team at Australia Ramp Design to build an epic freestyle motocross ramp that will see a couple of riders jump over the top of the massive and iconic stage.
“It’s not always going to be all about the music, we’re always looking at how we better the experience, the wow,” Clifton told councillors. “We’re working at how we can entertain our primary market.”
