A man has died after he was located with head injuries at a home in Forbes, police have said in a media release issued on Sunday evening.

Emergency services were called to Weelong Place about 1.20am Sunday following reports a man had been injured.
The 29-year-old man was taken to Forbes Hospital with significant head injuries but was pronounced dead later in the morning.
Detectives from Lachlan Local Area Command have commenced inquiries under Strike Force Heinrich.
A crime scene was established at the property and officers have been canvassing the area.
