This is Premier Berejiklian’s first visit to the Bathurst 1000, and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said he was keen to show her around the city and the track.
“The premier and deputy premier have both been very supportive of the second track,” he said.
“We’ll have a look at the value that the race not only brings Bathurst, but also the state and the nation.”
Mr Barilaro was in Bathurst in June to announce the State Government’s total contribution of $15 million towards the planned $54 million second race circuit for Mount Panorama called Velocity Park.
The premier and deputy premier have both been very supportive of the second track.

Meanwhile, Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem was named as official ambassador of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship earlier this year.
She is set to perform on the starting grid at the Bathurst 1000 on Sunday.
Late last month Ms Goodrem posted a message to her fans on her Facebook page: “See you at Bathurst for the biggest race of the year”.
