One of the organisers, Craig Dumesny, said three of his old school mates share the passion of planning the event which is always very well attended.
“I left school in Year 10 but the memories I have of Parkes High School and the many friendships I developed in just four years during my teens will stay with me forever,” Craig said.
Tony Melhuish, Kerrie Lowe (nee Wright) and Wendy Lydon (nee Burns) enjoy nothing more than meeting up with Craig to plan the event and all agree that this year's staging will be better than ever.
On Saturday evening, October 21, the group with gather in the Hart Bar of the Railway Hotel and judging by the healthy numbers rolling in, it is going to be a night to remember.
Craig said it has been hard to get in contact with many of his old school mates and hopes that family members and close friends who still reside in the area will read about the Reunion and help the organisers spread the word.
“It's not too late for any of our school friends to contact me or one of the other organisers,” Craig said.
“We want as many people as possible to come along and have a great night reminiscing about our time spent in Albert Street.
“And of course partners are most welcome to attend as well, we just love catching up with everyone.
“If you attended Parkes High from 1974 to 1979, even if it was just for a year or two, don’t hesitate to call 0438 766 003, you won’t regret it.”
