A grade Women: Magpies claimed back to back premierships after defeating Rovers Black 3-0 in the A grade women’s grand final. The first half was evenly matched with Magpies able to make the most of a penalty corner opportunity early in the first half when Jess Ross slotted home a well-worked variation.

It looked like Rovers would level the scores just before half time when Ash Ward broke away in attack. However, Maureen Massey made a good save to deny the young striker of this opportunity. The young Rovers side played valiantly in the second half but the experience of the Magpies outfit shone through with Wendy Rix converting two field goals to give Magpies a 3-0 victory.
Player of the match was awarded to Emmie Searl from Rovers after an outstanding defensive performance. Best for Magpies were Wendy Rix, Cherie Johnstone and Syann Allen with Emmie Searl and Georgia Kearney very strong for Rovers.
A grade Men: Magpies Academy were too strong for Masters running away with a 6-2 victory in the A grade men’s grand final. Peter Amor opened the scoring for Academy with an amazing individual goal to give them an early 1-0 lead.
Jack Elliott was dominant in attack scoring a hat-trick of goals with Regan Hotham and Koby Johnstone also adding to the total. Masters scored two late goals through Tim Wright and Andrew Finn. Jack Elliott was judged player of the match after an outstanding attacking performance for Academy. Aaron Wright was also strong for Academy with Brother Valentine winner, Ben Hawken, the best for Masters.
B grade Women: Rovers defeated Magpies 3-1 in an exciting match to claim the B grade title. Carla Peden had her usual strong game in the attacking circle converting two penalty corner opportunities for Rovers with the ever consistent Christina Kruger also knocking in a goal.
Gina Spratt scored a nice goal for Magpies. Alyssa Miller was judged player of the match after an impressive performance for Rovers with Carla Peden and Donna Payne also performing well. Best for Magpies were Mel ten Cate and Eliza Creith.
B grade Men: In a close match of hockey Magpies Academy were able to gain a 3-1 victory over Magpies Masters. Koby Johnstone, Royce Simpson and Glenn Sloane all scored for Masters with Andrew Finn converting for Masters.
Kyle Thompson capped off a great season being named player of the match for Academy with Nathan Wright and Riley Swan also having strong matches. Best for Masters were Andy Cassell, Cooper Byrnes and Will Cassell.
C grade Women: In a very close contest Magpies claimed the C grade title over Marist with a 1-0 victory. Maggie Wright converted a nice goal to seal the win for Magpies.
Meghan Searl was judged player of the match after an outstanding mid-field performance with Erin Carty and Katie Tanswell also playing well. Best for Marist were Viv Tosetti and Leanne Miles.
