Lynne started Sunday’s fourth round with a comfortable 15 stroke lead over her sister Kaye Jones, finishing with 87 and a total of 353.
It was not all bad for Kaye as she finished runner-up with a score of 369, good enough to take out the handicap and veterans events with 297 nett.
Kasey Fay-Rice claimed the B grade and junior championship double after putting together four rounds for a score of 395.
Lyn Davison (396) was B grade runner-up while Liz Matthews (298 nett) took out the handicap.
Ann Berkeley claimed the C grade championship with a score of 419.
Denise Charlton (441) finished runner-up while Anne (299 nett) made it a double with the handicap win as well.
The sixth monthly medal sponsored by Central West Glass was won by Lesley Fisher with 69 nett, while the four round incentive award sponsored by Cynthia Hamilton was won by Lynne Guise.
The four Dunfords vouchers for best nett score in each round went to:
- First round – Lyn Davison 72 nett;
- Second round – Liz Matthews 72 nett;
- Third round – Kasey Fay-Rice 69 nett; and
- Fourth round – Kaye Jones 70 nett.
Nearest the pins sponsored by Liz Matthews and Adrianne Brown went to Colleen Flynn, Kaye Jones, Ann Berkeley, and two to Leonie Thompson.
