Baker recorded wins on seven of the 18 holes.
He played his part on seven of the remaining 11 holes to be one of the golfers who squared the hole to force a jackpot.
With a carefree attitude, Baker recorded wins on the 2nd, 6th and 9th holes to secure $320 of the $420 on offer for the front nine while Finni Latu was victorious on the 3rd hole.
Anthony Riach recorded his only win on the par five, 7th hole.
Baker made the turn after a great 44, eight shots under his handicap.
His great play continued as he won the 10th.
Peter Bristol won the nearest the pin on the 11th, but Baker deprived him of winning the hole as both players recorded nett threes.
Bristol won his first skin on the 14th hole, claiming $235 in his final tally after Baker had taken the 12th hole jackpot of $120.
On the remaining four holes, Finni Latu won the par three, 15th before Baker was to close out the day with victories on the par five, 16th hole and the final hole which had a jackpot of $160.
Baker claimed the majority of the prizemoney with $755, Peter Bristol got $235, Finni Latu $135 and Anthony Riach $75.
At the presentation of the prizemoney Baker congratulated not only his fellow finalists, but made special mention of the sponsors Handiskins before stating he would hopefully be the second player from the club who would contest the national final.
