About 10am on Friday, August 4, Steph Williams heard what she said sounded like thunder or a car accident outside her house.
To her shock she found a wayward trailer had ploughed into her wooden fence facing Gap Street, causing a considerable amount of damage.
The police were called to the residence following the incident.
But to Steph’s horror, less than two weeks later the same trailer came rolling down Memorial Hill, this time smashing into her corrugated iron fence about 3pm on Tuesday, August 15.
Fortunately no one was injured either time.

The police were called again.
“It was the second time the same trailer had come down Memorial Hill,” Steph said.
“Considerable damage was caused to the back fence of the residence on both occasions.
“Fortunately no one was injured either time.”
Steph said she has found out the trailer has now been securely tethered.
But the two scares have compelled her to spread a little warning to owners of trailers in Parkes to make sure they secure their trailers properly, and how these two situations could have been completely different had someone been walking past.
“It was lucky no one was walking past,” she said.
