Kosef (captain), gave the boars a dream start cutting through the defence for an early try.
The Rhinos dug in with the ball going from end to end until Kosef beat the defence and pounced on a loose ball and struck again.
The Rhinos clawed a try back but Parkes replied when the defence couldn't contain a strong running Rusi Lawinkali.
Parkes went into the break with a handy 19-5 lead.
Ben Rathbone is returning to form and busted through the defence repeatedly and was making great metres for the home side.
He was rewarded with a try of his own to take the boars to a 26-5 lead.
Denis Webb was busy in attack and defence and was unlucky not to score when pulled down just short of the try line.
The rhinos didn't give up and scored again but Rusi Lawinkala kept up the pressure in the centres to go over again for the boars.
Credit to the rhinos for a well fought game played on good spirit.
The final score was Parkes Boars 33 to Dubbo Rhinos 12.
Best for the boars
Ben Rathbone, Rusi Lawinkali and Ethan Kosef.
