A local couple who are facing serious drug charges appeared in Parkes Local Court on Friday.

Penelope Karen Sense (46) and David Francis Sense (54), represented by Sydney solicitor Patrick Conaghan, appeared before Magistrate Philip Stewart.
Penelope Sense was committed for sentence after pleading guilty to four counts of supplying a prohibited drug and one count of possessing a prohibited drug.
All charges involve the drug methylamphetamine – commonly known as ice.
She will appear in Parkes District Court on October 23.
David Sense has been committed to stand trial on the charge of knowingly take part in the supply of a prohibited drug.
His matter has been adjourned to the Sydney Downing Centre District Court for call over on September 13.
The Senses were arrested and charged on November 30, 2016, after their property was raided by Local Lachlan Area Command police as part of Strike Force Sunning.
The strike force was initiated in October of last year to investigate the supply of methamphetamine (ice) in Parkes.
The couple were originally refused bail on November 30, 2016.
Magistrate Robert Rabbidge granted them strict conditional bail in Parkes Local Court on December 5, 2016.
