A man is dead following a single vehicle crash on Friday morning.

The 29-year-old driver of the vehicle was travelling from Cowra about 15 kilometres on the Lachlan Valley Way when the vehicle left the road about 6am.
Canobolas Local Area Command duty officer Chief Inspector Dave Harvey confirmed the man suffered fatal injuries.
Police from Gooloogong and Cowra attended the scene, and detectives from Orange.
A formal report will be made for the coroner.
