A highlight of this year's event was the inaugural 'Mini State of Origin' with competitors from Western Australia, Queensland, NSW and Victoria taking part.
The State of Origin was sponsored by Paul and Helen Schiller. Two dogs from each state competed for the title, with the winning team coming from NSW – dogs belonging to Leigh Foster and Frank Singleton. Each winner was awarded an individual trophy and their names on the shield which remains in Tullamore.
Tullamore PA&H catered the event with delicious cakes and slices, as well as hot food and drinks.
The organisers thanked the McMahon family for providing the sheep.
All levels of dog ability is welcomed to next year's event. Camping and caravan facilities are available at the showground. Don’t forget the Tullamore Annual Show is on this Friday and Saturday, August 11-12.
