The Middleton Public School P&C Fundraising Ball and Auction will be held on Saturday, August 5 at the Parkes Golf Club and it promises to be a night to remember.
The doors will be thrown open to revellers at 6pm, where you will be transported back in time.
The theme of the night is ‘Opp Shop 80s and 90s Glamour’.
Entertainment will be provided by Hunter Rawson, who will perform favourites from the 80s, 90s and today.
Craig Smith from ‘The Dish Cafe’ will keep everyone happy with his highly-regarded food.
P&C President Anita Lees said the purpose of the night is two-fold.
“The hard-working committee aim to raise much-needed funds for the all-purpose weather cover at Middleton School, which will house the highly anticipated playground equipment,” she said.
“We also believe in supporting the community that supports us.
“If people purchase their outfits from one of the charity shops in town, they can write their name onto the receipt and go into the draw for some great prizes. There will also be prizes for the best-dressed.”
In addition to all of the glitz and glamour that a Ball brings, there will be an auction featuring some fantastic items including:
- Taronga Western Plains Zoo passes,
- A signed NRL New Zealand Warriors football and collector cards,
- An NRL Parramatta Eels pack,
- Checker plate tool boxes,
- Coffee gift vouchers,
- Disaster Bay Chilli packs,
- Hair product packs,
- A kids ride-on tractor,
- Boy and girl back packs from Byrne Clothing,
- Various gift vouchers from local businesses,
- A trailer load of wood and much more.
Tickets are $50 each and are available at the Middleton Public School office.
“It is important to purchase these tickets as soon as possible, for catering purposes and to ensure that you don’t miss out on this unique night,” Anita said.
