The Trading Table and Shared lunch was attended by several members and many prizes were won.
The Raffle was won by Lorraine Heald and winners on the day were Chris, Maureen, Rhona.

Railway Men’s Bowls
All number five Pennant players are asked to attend this Sunday's Old Bowls Day. It is our last opportunity to raise funds for expenses to Soldiers Point.
It will be a fun day and a great idea for a get together the day commences at 10am and a sausage sizzle will be supplied.
If you cannot attend please notify Terry Hetherington or Tony Latter. The following weekend will be Pennants practise against the Town on Saturday and at our home club on Sunday club uniform applicable.
Social bowls at the weekend Saturday had winners Graham Thomson and Graeme Phillips. Runners up were Col Hornery and Baldy Frame.
Sunday Social Bowls had no results but quiet a few bowlers having a roll up. Play was cancelled on Wednesday due to the inclement weather.
It's all happening this Friday Night with raffles, badge draw, jackpot joker and IGA hamper. The courtesy bus available. Don't forget to clear your voice boxes for the Karaoke- Disco night on Friday, July 28 commencing at 9pm.

Sunday, July 16 the Parkes Services Social Golfers played a Team Event for the Sue and Mick Smith Trophies with Ray Cabban supplying the Raffle.
Winners on the day were the Team of Paul Murray and Ross Smith with 45 points on a count-back from the unlucky Mick Horan and Rodney Luyt.
Coming in third was the Team of Sue Smith and Ron Murray with 44 points. Ladies Nearest the Pins Margaret Hogan picked up the fourth and 11th Holes. Mens Nearest the Pins fourth Rodney Luyt, Sixth Mick Horan, 11th Brian Hogan and 15th Mick Smith.

Our next shoot will be 9am instead of 10am as the Pistol club will be starting a working bee at 10am on the wards. Any help would be appreciated. We still have to fit the last two eyebrow baffles to the 50 metres side.
With vacant benches during the winter months, now is the time to get your four shoots up for the year and avoid the last minute rush like all other years.
You require four four target shooting, two for recreational hunting and one for collecting. The firearm amnesty is now in for swing and we have two people who can do your tests for you. Just ring Brian on 6862 1969 or Dave on 0429 010 632 for an appointment, junior permits start at 12noon and Seniors at 18.

Welcome back everyone!!! We hope everyone is ready to start plating in the comp again. During the break we had a couple of shoot out competitions anyone that was interested. The winners of the doubles shoot out were Frank VanOpynen and Chris Stibbard. Winners of the mixed doubles were Brad Parker and Darelle Hodge. Winner of the singles shootout was Brent Skinner. Bridge
We had eight tables last Thursday, July 13. Peter Quin and Louise Payne were first again for north south with 67.46 per cent.
Second were Robyn Sheridan and Laurie Keane 58.73 followed by Jenny Freeman and Jan Latter 56.35. Fourth were Helen Hall and Karen Ridley 50.4.
On the east west side Keith Fiedler and Helen McQuie topped with 62.15. Second were Gai Baker and Anne Berkeley 60.07 with Val Worthington and Jan Freeman third 51.04.
On Monday night Tim and Gai Baker came first with 60.12 per cent.
They were followed by Anne Berkeley and Jennifer Calvert who tied with Jan Latter and Robyn Sheridan all on 54.17. Fourth were Greig Ball and Helen McQuie 51.19.
Tuesday's game was a good one for Val Boyd and Jan Freeman who had a terrific score of 70.83. They were a long way ahead of Bev Laing and Audrey Somers 54.17 and Barbara Magill and Jan Latter 52.38.
In fourth place were Keith Fiedler and Kevin Robinson 50.6. We welcomed Elaine Nicholson to her first game at the club. She has been ably coached by Val Worthington.
Netball
Back at netball this weekend, hope you have all had a great break. Now it’s time to get back into some great netball. Don’t forget we are running group training sessions each Friday from 4.30pm–5.30pm at the courts.
