Emergency services were called to High Street about 12.30am where they found a house well alight.
Fire fighters extinguished the blaze; however the house was destroyed.
The female occupant, a 46-year-old woman, sustained extensive burns.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to Concord Hospital.
Officers from Lachlan Local Area Command attended and located the bodies of two Great Danes in the front rooms of the house.
A crime scene has been established; however, the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
Investigations suggest it was caused by an electric heater.
