Jenz Yogalates hosts Winter Wellness Day

The Parkes community were exposed to a ‘Winter Wellness Day’ on Saturday, June 24 at the Parkes Golf Club.

The room at the Parkes Golf Club was transformed to reflect a place of peace, openness and serenity.

The event was organised and hosted by Jenz Yogalates (Jen Harris).

Jen has been delivering Yogalates to the community of Parkes for the last year, running these classes from the Girl Guides Hall.

Health and wellness is paramount to a person’s wellbeing, so this day was designed to address issues or imbalances that may allow someone to take the ’time’ for themselves.

The Winter Wellness Day focused on relaxing the body, rejuvenating the mind and inspired people to take a holistic approach to their own health.

As part of the day, clients experienced the benefits of a yogalates (combination of yoga and pilates) session, facials, body massages, doTerra essential oils demonstration, an iRest Yoga Nidri meditation session and informative education on the benefits of yogalates.

Wholesome, nutritious food, including gluten free and sugar free, were also offered, as well as organic herbal teas and Jenz Special Blended Coffee.

Special thanks to Rebecca Miller from La Bella for providing each lady with a very generous gift bag, Jo Laurie for her beautiful artwork display, Britt and Carrie from doTerra Essential Oils, Eliza Fisher for beautiful gift bags of Organic Spa and the Parkes Golf Club for providing a sensational setting, which set the scene for a relaxing day.

The aim of the day was to bring awareness to the benefits of providing oneself with the tools that can promote good health and an energetic nurturing soul.

Clients are already looking forward to the Spring Sensation Day to be held in October 2017.

Alternatively this event can be offered to a small group that would like the same experience on a smaller scale.

Jenz Yogalates classes are held on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5.45pm. Classes are suited to most fitness levels.

Within the program, Jenz Yogalates offer modifications and alternative exercise to compliment any level.
