The competition reverted to a four-team finals series this season after Dubbo Blues Jays’ withdrawal, and thanks to the 6-0 loss to Panthers on Saturday Ex-Services are now eight points adrift of the top four.
Although, Confederates are fourth and have played an extra game.
Ex-Services were down on troops last weekend and that showed in the six-goal defeat.
Lithgow’s Hannah Kable made the most of it, in particular, bagging a hat-trick to inspire her side’s victory.
Amanda Saladine, Amy Dewar and Clare Bosman also found the back of the net.
There’s now six games remaining in the regular season and Ex-Services can’t afford to drop too many of those if they are to earn a finals berth, the blue and golds will face Lithgow Zig Zag next up.
