Football
Last weekend was an emotional one for us, losing Jeff Moody through the week and Lloyd Collier the week before.
A minutes silence was held for both men and black arm bands were worn during the games on Saturday and Sunday.
Both families appreciated the respect shown and it makes you realise how good this footy club is.
Saturday Youth League traveled to Condo.
They lost 28-20.
With only one sub, they tried their best but just couldn’t keep up their defense.
On Sunday we hosted Cargo.
League Tag lost 14-0 against the second team on the ladder.
The ladies put in a huge defensive effort to keep Cargo out, they just couldn't get points on the board.
The 1st Grade game was high scoring and entertaining to watch.
The Boomers got a win at home which was much needed beating Cargo 44-32.
Both past and present players of the Trundle Football Club have been asked to form a Guard of Honour at Moo's funeral on Tuesday at 11am at Berryman Oval.
This weekend coming both League Tag and 1st Grade have a bye.
Youth League play Manildra at Grenfell on Sunday, kicking off at 11.20am.
