International ElvisTM tribute artist Ben Thompson has been announced as the 2018 Feature Artist for the 26th annual Parkes Elvis Festival.

In his first Australian performance ever, Ben Thompson is ready to celebrate 50 years since the '68 Comeback Special, the Festival's 2018 theme. He will appear in four high-energy concerts celebrating Elvis Presley's music to be held at the Parkes Leagues Club from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 January 2018.
Hailing from Surrey, England, Ben is a multi-award-winning Elvis tribute artist that has the ability to successfully recreate all eras of Elvis Presley. He maintains authentic high-energy performances and the charming charisma that Elvis was known for.
Ben has had the opportunity of performing with Elvis Presley's original backing singers, the Sweet Inspirations, on 30 occasions. He has also starred as Elvis Presley in many touring shows including Rocking on Heavens Door, Elvis' 80th Anniversary Show, The Definitive Elvis Experience and most recently in We Remember Elvis.
Ben has toured many countries including the United States, England, Ireland, Denmark and Hungary and loves nothing more than entertaining audiences wherever he goes.

Ben Thompson will perform at Parkes Elvis Festival backed by the impressive eight-piece Elvis in Concert band. Winning 'Best 50s Elvis' in the UK at just 17 years old, the now 23 year old will recreate the performances that made Elvis the king.
In addition to the Feature Concert Series, Ben will appear at the 2018 Parkes Elvis Festival Street Parade, Gospel Service and Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
Tickets for the 2018 Feature Concert Series will be on sale on September 11.
