Several veterans and their families attended this year’s Parkes RSL Sub-branch luncheon, held upstairs of the Parkes Services Club.

The luncheon featured a number of special guests including Anzac Day guest speaker Captain Anthony Klenthis RAN, Parkes High School captains Yasmin Potts and Ross Collins, and Libby Pepper of Parkes Chrisitan School.
Also among those present were visiting veterans and their families, and representatives from Legacy, the Parkes RSL Women’s Auxiliary and the Parkes Services Club.
The sub-branch, for the first time, took the opportunity to induct two new members at the event – Reverend Ron Spindler and Mollie Riach (who was unable to be present at the luncheon).
