A 52-year-old Parkes man was flown to Westmead Hospital with head injuries on Thursday night after his vehicle left the road and struck a culvert on the Henry Parkes Way near Bogan Gate.

The driver was still in the white Ford Falcon utility when emergency services arrived at the scene, two kilometres west of the Bogan Way, at 8.40pm.
The driver is reported to be in a stable condition. Investigations are continuing.

Police were patrolling Clarinda Street early on Sunday morning when they witnessed an assault outside a licensed premises at 3.30am.
A 33-year-old Parkes man fell to the ground after he was punched by a 22-year-old Parkes man.
The victim was not moving and was attended to by police until paramedics arrived.
The 22-year-old was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A mailbox in Coronation Avenue was pulled out of the ground and thrown on the footpath by unknown offenders between 1am and 4am on Sunday.

A black, pink and green MGP scooter was stolen from PAC Park at 1pm on Sunday.
The owner of the scooter, a 13-year-old boy, was at the park with a group of friends and accidentally left the scooter behind.
When he returned a short time later the scooter, valued at $250, was gone.

Unknown offenders smashed a sliding glass door at a premises in Wentworth Street at 7.45pm on Saturday.
Neighbours heard the noise and contacted police who conducted a patrol but were unable to locate anyone in the area.

A 20-year-old Parkes man received a fine on Friday night for doing burnouts.
Police received reports of a vehicle doing burnouts on Saleyards Road at 9.10pm.
When police arrived they found a black Holden Commodore stuck in gravel.
After speaking with the driver police issued him with the infringement notice.
