Two police officers were allegedly assaulted as they attempted to disperse the crowd at the party at a community hall in Epping after it was closed due to safety concerns.
Police were called to Oxford Street about 10.20pm on Saturday and began to move on partygoers, many of whom were intoxicated and refusing to leave.

One officer intervened in a scuffle between a group of people and was struck on the back of the head.
Police called in back-up from the Public Order and Riot Squad, Police Transport Command, Dog Unit and Highway Patrol.
A 16-year-old girl was taken to Ryde Police Station after allegedly kicking an officer, using offensive language and resisting arrest. She was released into her father's care pending further inquiries by police.
A number of others were issued with criminal infringement notices for offensive language and other offences.
The two officers who were assaulted did not require treatment.
