The workshop, run by the Western NSW Local Health District in conjunction with the Quest for Life Foundation, was originally to be held at the Studio of Elsie Mahon in Hedgerow Avenue.
Due to the level of interest, the workshop will now be held at the Community Centre in Cooke Park on Friday, April 7, from 9am – 3pm. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Participants will learn how to build resilience in the face of cancer diagnosis and treatment, the importance of self-care and how to incorporate this into daily life, how to reduce stress and incorporate relaxation into daily life, how to manage emotions and recognise and manage burnout.
Interested people should RSVP for the day by contacting Karen Wright by phone 0407 002 937 or email karen.wright1@health.nsw.gov.au.
