Following the annual Easter Hat Parade at 2pm, this year’s fete looks likely to be one to remember with many activities for the whole family.
The fete will feature performances from the Parkes Public School Choir, Parkes School of Dance and Twinkle Toes Dance Studio before culminating with an outdoor screening of Ice Age 5: Collision Course.
Stalls at this year’s fete include a cake stall, plant stall, gift pots, white elephant stall, craft stall, animal nursery, face painting, coloured hair stall, lucky dips, tombola, and a temporary tattoo stall.
There will also be a jumping castle, an Easter treasure hunt, an activity zone, sideshow alley, and some competitions.
Great food, both hot and cold, will be available with a BBQ starting at 5pm.
Parkes Public School P and C president Keri MacGregor said the fete has been made possible by the hard work of P and C volunteers.
“I can’t thank enough all of those hard working helpers who are making the fete something not to be missed this year,” Keri said.
“Without their help and the support of the generous businesses in the community, the fete would not be possible.
“I encourage everyone to come along and have a great family evening out,” she said.
