The event will run from 10am to 12pm at the TAFE Hub and Library.
The day aims to encourage people to participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster a sense of belonging for everyone.
Harmony Day’s message is everyone belongs, with the official colour orange signifying social communication and meaningful conversations, it also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
Everyone is invited to go along, say hello and share some morning tea.
The students are inviting people to wear something orange, traditional dress or just come as you are.
There will be information, activities and giveaways for attendees to participate in and take home.
