Pennants
No good news for any of our three teams this weekend.
I don’t have any details of how our Grade 2 side fared at Baradine other than that Baradine were too good on the day.
The Grade 5 side, playing at home went down narrowly to Canowindra.
Guy Ellery’s team had a good win 20-12 and Keith MacRae’s team won twelve of the 21 ends but lost by three shots, 19-22. On the third rink, Col Mudie’s team went down 10-20 giving Baradine an aggregate win of 54-49 and a nine points to one victory.
At Parkes Railway/Diggers Club the Grade 7 side also lost nine points to one winning one of the three rinks.
George Boatswain’s team had a narrow win, 19-16 but Ted Wright’s team went down 13-29 and Steve Mills’s team also were beaten 20-27, giving the Railway side an aggregate win of 72-52.
